Lauryn Pan
Even though she is hesitant, senior Lauryn Pan and returning Scroll staff writer yearns for a “set” future. Lauryn has many aspirations like receiving scholarships and finding herself a stable job, but first she has to worry about getting accepted into college. What Lauryn plans to do in the future is to write--whether it be for a magazine or full-fledged novel. Lauryn has loved writing from the beginning of her school years; while her peers were eager to go out and play, Lauryn chose to stay behind and scribble down her thoughts on a piece of paper. Lauryn’s passion for prose blossomed and soon she graduated from loose sheets of paper to filling notebooks to the brim with her experiences and opinions. Lauryn even accomplished the impossible: she covered an entire journal from front to back in writing. Even though Lauryn writes until her hands fall off, she prefers the title storyteller to writer. Writing might be her medium, but it’s the stories that intrigue her the most. Luckily Lauryn has found a home base where she can delve into storytelling here at The Sunset Scroll.
