Jamie Jeffers
With great enthusiasm and excitement for the new year, senior Jamie Jeffers returns to The Scroll to lead the team as an editor for the second year in a row. Her dedication to our newspaper began before she even stepped foot on Sunset’s campus when she read a print edition of The Scroll way back in the winter of seventh grade. Impressed by the professionalism of The Scroll, her road to becoming a student journalist began. This being her senior year, Jamie has decided to continue writing after she leaves Sunset. Aspiring to work on long narrative pieces while making a decent salary, Jamie looks for an alternative to being an author, which she initially aspired to be from a young age. With graduation around the corner, Jamie is excited to say goodbye and see where life takes her, but will miss the familiarity of Sunset. Bring new ideas and a smile to every meeting, Jamie is helping to change the face of The Scroll, one word at a time.
