Laurel Hennig
Laurel Hennig, a Junior, is a first-year Scroll staff member and a Portland native. Laurel enjoys writing fiction (especially fantasy) and joined the Scroll to explore a different kind of writing. She considers her style to be “emo” and dyes her hair to add some flair. Her greatest accomplishment is drawing Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet. Laurel recalls being angriest when she was in fifth grade and she saw a bully picking on an autistic girl.
